Claudine Rane - Trainer

I am a freelance trainer and consultant working in the voluntary, statutory and private sectors. I have several years of experience in training design, development and delivery, as well as ongoing development and evaluation of training. I recently completed a CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) Certificate in Training Practice, which complements my experience. My work history is in a range of settings, including youth justice, criminal justice, with a particular specialism in restorative justice and working with victims of crime. I have also worked extensively in the area of child protection and safeguarding, and more generally in the youth work field. I have worked in the statutory sector (Youth Offending Teams) and central government (Youth Justice Board), as well as in prisons (in Canada). I have also worked in small local voluntary sector organisations, several large voluntary sector organisations (e.g. Victim Support, National Children's Bureau) and national youth infrastructure body (National Council for Voluntary Youth Services). Finally I have worked in the private sector as a freelance trainer. I therefore have a good cross section of knowledge regarding issues facing all sectors, and an excellent understanding of the issues of the sectors working together. I have also worked in multi-agency statutory organisations (Youth Offending Teams) and therefore have an excellent understanding of the dynamics of such arrangements.

Claudine Rane - Facilitator

I can offer my facilitation skills in all areas such as meetings and training days, workshops, action learning sets, team building etc. Also I can facilitate people in conflict in a variety of situations, from the workplace, to youth work, to criminal justice settings and others. My facilitation services can be used on a one-off basis or as a regular arrangement.

Claudine Rane - Mediator

I can offer mediation in workplace conflict, in criminal justice settings or between any parties in conflict who wish to repair relationships or find ways of moving forward in their lives. This would require a package of services to include meeting with all parties involved separately before bringing them together to find solutions. I am a trained workplace mediator and have a good understanding of the complexities of workplace disputes, and the skills to enable those in conflict to find solutions and move forward with their working relationships.
